Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of EasyWebsites — the website builder, hosting, and related services available at easywebsites.app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

EasyWebsites lets you describe a business or project and uses artificial intelligence to generate, host, and help you edit a website. The Service includes AI-assisted website generation and editing, hosting on a subdomain of easywebsites.app, optional custom domain connection, managed contact forms, and related tools. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account without our written consent.

3. AI-generated content

The Service uses third-party AI models to generate website content, layouts, code, and imagery suggestions based on the information you provide. You understand and agree that:

  • AI-generated output may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing your website — including business details, prices, claims, and legal statements — before publishing it.
  • You are solely responsible for the content of websites you publish through the Service, whether written by you or generated by AI at your direction.
  • Similar prompts from different customers may produce similar output. We do not guarantee that generated designs or text are unique to you.

4. Your content and ownership

You retain ownership of the content you provide (text, images, brand assets) and, to the extent permitted by law, the websites generated for you through the Service. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, and display your content and generated websites as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service. We do not sell your content.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to create, publish, or distribute:

  • Content that is illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive (including phishing or impersonation);
  • Malware, or content intended to compromise other systems or users;
  • Content that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
  • Sexually explicit content involving minors, or content that exploits or harms minors in any way;
  • Content promoting violence or hatred against individuals or groups;
  • Spam, link farms, or sites that exist primarily to manipulate search rankings.

We use automated and manual review to detect abusive content and may remove content, suspend publishing, or terminate accounts that violate this section. You also may not probe, overload, scrape, or disrupt the Service, resell it without authorization, or attempt to circumvent plan limits, usage limits, or security measures.

6. Hosting, subdomains, and custom domains

Published websites are served from a subdomain of easywebsites.app that we license to you for the duration of your use of the Service. Subdomains remain our property; we may reclaim subdomains that are inactive, violate these Terms, or conflict with reserved names or third-party rights. If you connect a custom domain, you are responsible for owning and maintaining that domain registration.

7. Plans, billing, and renewals

  • Paid subscriptions and add-ons are billed through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full card details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
  • Each plan includes limits (such as number of websites, pages, AI edits, and form submissions). We may enforce these limits technically, including pausing AI generation when daily usage limits are reached.
  • If you downgrade, features and capacity beyond your new plan may be disabled, and you may be required to choose which websites remain active.
  • Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy.

8. Free plans and trials

Free plans and trials are provided as-is, may have reduced limits and features, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. We may suspend or delete websites on expired free plans after reasonable notice.

9. Forms and visitor data

If your website uses managed forms, visitors' submissions are processed by us on your behalf and delivered to you. You are the controller of data your site collects from its visitors: you are responsible for using it lawfully and for providing any privacy notices your visitors are entitled to.

10. Availability and changes to the Service

We work hard to keep the Service available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available" without uptime guarantees. We may modify, add, or remove features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of changes that materially reduce the Service's core functionality.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or if required by law. Upon termination, your published websites may be taken offline and your data deleted after a reasonable retention period.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that generated websites will be error-free, meet your requirements, or achieve any particular business outcome.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EasyWebsites and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of the content of websites you publish, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in-product notice before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
